Positive & Negative Pressure Manual Water Resistance Tester
Overview
Positive & Negative Pressure Manual Water Resistance Tester
This instrument uses a traditional wet pressure-testing method. The watch is secured inside a transparent observation chamber, where a manually generated positive or negative pressure differential allows the operator to check for continuous bubbles around the case, crown, case back, crystal edge, and pushers. This helps evaluate water-resistance sealing and locate potential leaks.
The tester features a transparent cylindrical chamber, mechanical pressure gauge, positive/negative pressure selector, and long manual pump lever. Its straightforward operation makes it suitable for watch repair shops, brand service centers, pre-owned watch preparation, and small-batch inspection.
FEATURES
Core functions
1. Secure the watch in the chamber and keep it above the water level.
2. Select the required positive or negative pressure mode.
3. Use the manual lever to reach the specified pressure and maintain it for the required period.
4. Lower the watch into the water or adjust the test state according to the operating instructions.
5. Release the pressure slowly and check the sealed areas for continuous bubbles.
6. Identify potential leak points from the bubble location and retest after servicing.
